I’m a graphic designer and art director based in New York City. I concentrate on branding and its extensions into editorial, digital, environmental, signage, exhibition, campaign, motion, information, and packaging design. I closely collaborate with my clients and team to develop designs that are thoughtfully considered, honest, nuanced, and accessible. Although dedicated to keeping my projects as diverse as possible, I particularly love making typography-driven work that is conceptually strong and demonstrates craftsmanship and rigor.
I work both independently and as a contributor on bigger teams, providing freelance support to studios and in-house design departments. I occasionally speak and write about graphic design, and am currently available for new projects.
Originally from Siberia, Russia, where I grew up surrounded by brutalist architecture and snow, I graduated from Novosibirsk Academy of Architecture and Fine Arts with an MFA in Graphic Design and have practiced in New York for 12 years.
